   DESCRIPTION

The Citation III joined the fleet in May 1982 and the design was replaced by the Citation VI in 1991. Both the Citation III and VI are among the fastest in the mid-sized jet category with a spacious baggage area. Although the cabin is smaller than other mid-size jets, it typically seats up to 7 passengers. Developments such as improved performance and longer range were initially designed to supplement the smaller Citation I & II, however the Citation III and VI have advanced further since and now have little in common with previous Citations. Typical nonstop flights include New York to Miami, or Dallas to New York.
